pride of our mountain region. The Appalachian Resource Conservation & Development Council’s Quilt Trail winds around Johnson City, Kingsport, and Bristol, and other regions of East Tennessee. For your pleasure, artistry of the traditional quilt on a backdrop of historic and beautiful barns can be seen on the tour.
Take your time, pack a lunch or better yet stop in Jonesborough for mouth-watering samples of our local flavors. You will find a variety of shops to fill any quilting need. The stores listed below contain finished quilts or patchwork, appliqué, and other items for quilters of any range.
Tennessee Quilts proudly hosts the QuiltFest (3 days of quilting classes and related events) each July and frequently offers classes taught by nationally recognized quilting instructors. The event offers classes for all levels and also includes the Hoffman Challenge traveling exhibit inside the Historic Jonesborough Visitors Center.
