Designing jewelry has been a passion for store owner Debra Locher since sixth grade. This passion combined with finding beauty in the nature of the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee in the form of rocks, plants, and organic shapes has led 139 ½ East Main Street
her to the world of fine jewelry. For years her store has offered jewelry and gifts from near and far, gemstones, fossils, crystals, minerals, and one-of-a-kind art jewelry by the owner.

Steve and Tava Cook renovated the Main Street store location, which served as a telephone company, to accommodate more crafts and artwork from over 200 different artists from across the country. All of the artists represented at JAGG are American artists, and the Cooks strongly emphasize the importance of supporting these artists against imports and mass-produced items.

New work is being sought each year to give the art lover a new selection several times yearly, and all artists are welcome to submit their work for consideration.
